The first exhibition in 2024 was held from October 31st to November 2nd, 2024, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City. It was a concurrent event, combining the Vietnam International Semiconductor Microelectronics Exhibition 2024 (SEMICON 2024) and the accompanying Vietnam International Optoelectronics Exhibition 2024 (VIOE 2024). Despite being the first of its kind, the 2024 exhibition created an effective platform for networking, trade promotion, and technological cooperation for domestic and international businesses. Exhibitions, seminars, signing ceremonies, and site visits helped establish a high-tech industry ecosystem and promote the development of global value chains in Vietnam.
